Jo began her journey into dog training by accident back in 2020 when looking at training for her Jack-Russell Terrier, who was reactive to dogs on walks. She came across fun games based concept training and started a short course just for her dog. She was completely amazed by the wonderful positive changes achieved with such fun relaxed training.

Jo has always loved problem solving, values helping others and delights in seeing the joy it can bring. When an opportunity came to learn more about dogs, become a dog trainer and share force-free fun training methods with others, she jumped at it. Jo completed Pro Dog Trainer (PDT) course in 2022/23 and is continuing her
professional development as a Dog Trainer in the PDT Geek program.

Having owned puppies and older rescue dogs, she knows firsthand that starting with a puppy is gold but it’s never too late for old dogs to learn new tricks.

Jo recently welcomed a 9 year old three legged Chihuahua x Pug to her family who loves calmness training and loves bush and beach walks where we play games along the way.
